Ever noticed how your computer is at its fastest when its brand new and it goes downhill from there? Well the best way to get that level of performance back again is to restore your computer to the factory build. Your computer should have come with a restore disk to enable to do this.

Obviously you won’t want to lose all of the files and programs installed on your computer. So before you do this please back all your files up to external locations such as USB Memory Pens, External Hard Disk Drives or an online storage facility of which there are plenty about.

Also make sure you have all the CD’s for the programs and applications you don’t want to lose.

Once you have all the data backed up you can use the restore disk. Your computers manufacturer should have instructions on how to do this if you are unsure.

Once that is all done you can add all the files and programs back onto your computer.
